With about 650 sellers and buyers, the International Tourism Fair in Ho Chi Minh City 2018 (ITE HCMC 2018) is expected to attract over 30,000 visitors.

Mr Le Truong Hien Hoa, director of the Tourism Promotion Center (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism), said that the 14th ITE HCMC in 2018 is considered a prestigious annual tourism event for tourism industry. The international tourism fair (ITE) in Ho Chi Minh City 2018 will have many attractive programs welcoming buyers from other countries.

Accordingly, from September 6-8 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC, Ho Chi Minh City), the International Tourism Fair of Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) 2018 this year expanded both in terms of size and quality, attracting 375 vendors including airlines, hotels and resorts, tour operators, major corporations and travel agents from Brunei, Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russia … The fair also attracts 37 more organizations, provinces, cities such as Hanoi, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Da Nang … (up 5 organizations compared to last year). In addition, the fair attracts over 270 international buyers, including outbound travel agencies from over 40 key international markets and 50 outbound buyers.

Mr La Quoc Khach, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department, said that the highlight of this fair is to promote the expansion of destinations in Northeast Asia, North America and Europe and South East Asia to make a breakthrough in the promotion of tourism promotion of the city from now to 2020. These markets have always been high growth and contribution to the economy. On the other hand, the fair is also an ideal opportunity for domestic and foreign businesses to introduce products and services to the inbound and outbound markets of quality and prestige.

Considered as the company with many promotions at the fair this year, Lu Quoc Toan, Deputy Head of South Vietnam Airlines' Southland Passenger Transport Division, said the company would sponsor airfares with exemptions to connect Vietnamese sellers with foreign buyers. Especially, on the last day, the cpmpany also launch the tourist demand stimulation package to access the products of Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific such as the program to reduce thousands of tickets for domestic retail customers to only 299,000 VND / International passengers are reduced to 210,000 VND / way and fare for passengers to Jetstar Pacific is 99,000 VND / way.
